Originally constructed in 1923, Silo Point was the biggest and fastest grain elevator in the world. Each year, nearly ten miles of conveyor belt carried 3.8 million bushels of corn, wheat, and bean to transatlantic ships bound from Baltimore to the Far East. Today, much of the original structure remains, including 12 towering silos which anchor the residences with a sense of history and gritty elegance.
